The 2013 Adobe Days event included a stop by the Adobe Create the Web campus tour. Attendees learned how the next generation of HTML and CSS offers powerful new features for creating graphically rich, enhanced content for the modern web. Terry Ryan, Adobe Evangelist, delivered presentations on the following topics:
Tim Plumer, Senior Solutions Engineer at Adobe Systems, Inc., offered a day of workshops at IUPUI and IU Bloomington, along with staffing the “Stump the Expert” table at the Friday Showcase events. Digital Publishing Suite: Creating Your Own Folio
How to create a quick InDesign project aimed at becoming a digital publishing project which includes interactivity, slide shows and streaming video. Participants were encouraged to bring their own tablet and to publish finished products
Edge: The Product Family
Participants were exposed to Adobe’s new Edge applications which support HTML5 workflows and got experience using Edge Animate, which can be used to create interactions and animations for digital and web publications. Participants were encouraged to bring their own devices to see the Edge Animate interactive animation they created in the workshop.
